A NOTE FROM THE FOUNDER
I thought I was building tools.
Somewhere along the way, I realized I wasn’t building a collection of tools anymore. I was building a place.

1994THE FIRST CHAPTER
A life in EMS.
A wider point of view.
I started in EMS in 1994 and earned my NREMT-P in 2001. After years working in business, technology, and the corporate world, I returned to full-time EMS with a familiar love for the work and a different perspective on the systems around it.
I didn’t set out to build a new company or application. I started by building tools and apps to solve some of my own problems and frustrations. Along the way, those tools kept connecting, and somehow we built this.
THE CONNECTION
The same professional showed up in every problem.
I wanted a better way to organize credentials, understand licensing in different states, find and work with protocols, and make sense of jobs and the places where I might practice. Each problem looked separate at first. Then the tools kept connecting.
Credentials mattered to licensing, education, and opportunities. Protocols connected to learning and clinical practice. Organizations needed useful ways to support the people doing the work. Every new connection made it harder to think of this as a collection of unrelated tools.
“Our profession deserves a place built specifically for us.”
WHY IT MATTERS
A place worth coming back to.
EMS has lived with fragmentation for a long time. We work in different systems, under different rules, with different resources. We repeat tasks that should be easier. We carry professional challenges that do not end when a shift does.
I do not think a website can fix all of that. I do think we can make it easier to find one another, share what we know, stay organized, and keep growing.
A. Paramedic is still under development. There is work to do, and there are things we will learn only by listening. If you are a clinician, educator, leader, organization, or someone who cares about EMS, I hope you will help shape what this becomes.
